Financing Information Technologies was founded by Eric Knight. He decided to start FIT Mortgage after working for a large, national mortgage company for several years. The impetus was the realization that his clients would be better served by a much smaller company without the cumbersome bureaucratic framework, operating expenses, and cost structure that is inherent to the larger mortgage companies.

Eric accumulated his clientele throughout the years by referral only - the trademark of value and service excellence. In January of 2003 he developed FIT Mortgage and brought aboard a few additional mortgage consultants to broaden his scope and carry forth his ideals.
